Magic Menu

A context-aware floating panel — the right settings for whatever you click.

Default shortcut:Ctrl + RMB

Highlights

  • Camera, light, modifier, color, curve and material sub-menus
  • Floating 3D-view panel — keeps the cursor where you are
  • Auto-rebinds based on selection context
  • Fully remappable shortcut

The Magic Menu is the heart of Blenderflow. Instead of hunting through twelve nested panels, you press one shortcut and the right tools show up where your mouse already is.

How it works

  1. Select any object in the 3D viewport.
  2. Press Ctrl + Right Mouse Button (default).
  3. A floating panel appears with the properties relevant to your selection.

Context-aware sub-menus

The Magic Menu branches into the right sub-panel based on what is selected:

  • Lights — power, color, shadow settings
  • Cameras — focal length, sensor size, resolution
  • Objects — modifier stack with quick toggles
  • Curves — bevel, resolution, taper
  • Colors — picker + recent swatches
  • Materials — quick slot swap

Customizing the shortcut

Open Edit → Preferences → Keymap and search for blenderflow_menu.context_menu. Map it to anything you like — a pen button, a tablet modifier, a custom combination.

Tip: bind it to a mouse side-button for one-handed workflow on a tablet.
